DPR Property

Company Website

A website designed and developed for DPR Property, built using pure HTML, CSS and JS – managed in-house to maximise overall versatility and functionality.

work Outline

DPR approached us with the requirement for a brand new website to replace their existing site build on the self-build platform, Squarespace.

It was important that the website would give a well thought-out and comprehensive representation of DPR, communicating they do, while maintaining a clean, minimalistic design theme throughout. Moreover, it was crucial to maximise the use of high resolution, large scale imagery site-wide.

The Process

DPR being London based meant communication needed to be clear and decisive to ensure a smooth running project that was able to capture DPR’s every want and need for their site. This meant a constant stream of contact throughout the design process with bit-by-bit updates to ensure every aspect was being completed exactly as it needed to be.

Imagery to capture

The use of DPR’s images was the most crucial aspect in the project. It’s the images that say the most and immediately represent DPR, so it had to be done just right.

Company Website

A website designed and developed for Multi Vehicle Technology, with the inclusion of a comprehensive backend CMS to allow for self-management.

work Outline

After producing Multi Vehicle Technology’s first website for them some years ago when they formed, we were set the task of producing an entirely new site to represent what the company had grown to become.

The new site also needed to be build on top of a comprehensive CMS that would allow MVTech to self-manage the site along with blog posts, portfolio entries and for sale items.

The Process

A series of meetings set about the layout and styling for the new site. Working closely together we developed a site that firstly showcased MVTech in a clear and navigable way while also encompassing well written content with an importance for SEO. Doing so to aid search rankings to build on MVTech’s online presence, boosting business.

eCommerce Website

MMWL Website Design
Mum's Made With Love

eCommerce Website

The website design and developed for Mum’s Made With Love, including an eCommerce system for the sale of their line of products.

work Outline

Mum’s Made With Love have been one of our clients for a long time. After some discussion MMWL decided it was time to overhaul the business with cleaner, more refined branding which included an all-new website to feature a robust eCommerce platform to sell products more effectively.

The site needed to keep its core-design principle of an “authentic Indian” look, but with a much more modern and simplistic approach.

The Process

We got to work, with an already clear understanding of the business thanks to the numerous years Acethespace Design and MMWL have been working together building the branding.

What we produced was a website of two halves. The first half focused on the company itself, giving a clear message of authenticity in a modern light – this included the company bio along with upcoming events and where products can be bought on the hughstreet etc.

In the second half we had the eCommerce store, fully manageable by MMWL themselves, thanks to an easy to work backend system with a well thought-out frontend.

Vibrance is king

The design was very Indian cuisine focused, therefore it was vital that the bold bright colours of the MMWL brand be used throughout.

What MMWL Say

We're selling more than ever through the site

Thanks to the redesign and the development of an outstanding online store, we’re selling more than ever through the site. Everyone loves the design, but most of all our sales are up and we’re receiving loads more interest since going live.

Pro Skier Branding

Charlie Raposo Branding
Charlie Raposo

Pro Skier Branding

A clean, sharp, adaptive brand design for GB professional alpine ski racer, Charlie Raposo.

work Outline

Charlie Raposo is one of GB’s top alpine ski racers with a strong drive in both his racing but also his personal identity.

Charlie was seeking to develop a brand for himself which would help elevate his career in alpine ski racing, as well as building himself a platform to promote himself for more than just skiing.

The branding needed to be clean, sharp and above all dynamic, offering a simple but bold approach that would represent him in his skiing, but with the adaptability to be used elsewhere outside of his skiing career.

The Process

We started by taking a look around other top skiers around Charlie, the approach they took and draw off the key areas that appealed to him.

Next we came up with various concepts along with various colour schemes, to be presented refined down to just a couple of Charlie’s favoured options for further development.

Once we had reached the final logo design the brand colour scheme was added and an overall brand style was designed to suit.

Simple, but bold.

The key to this logo design is ‘identity’. It was pivotal that the design be based around Charlie’s initials, ‘CR’.

Bookings Website

Bookings Website

The website design and developed for ClickTrips, including a CMS and eCommerce system for ticket sales.

work Outline

New startup, ClickTrips, requested the design and development for a website that would primarily serve as a customer-facing bookings system, allowing customers to visit the site to browse through their various trips and purchase tickets. Additionally, the site needed to showcase the business to inform visitors about the new business to build trust.

The system also needed to be self-maintained by ClickTrips themselves using a backend to allow orders to be managed, information to be updated and trips to be added, as well as other essential features.

The Process

Initially, we discussed at length what the site must be capable of to ensure a full understanding at the core level of the build. Once we had established what we needed, we then set out models for the interface design until we came to a product that satisfied both user-friendliness but also informativeness – both essential to eCommerce structures to convert sales.

Once we had finalised the site the admins were shown the backend system, tutored one-to-one on its operation and instructions laid out for the client for future reference. The final step was to put the site live to the public, which was accompanied by a social media promotion to aid initial traffic and SEO ranking.

Day Trip Branding

A warm and inviting brand design for startup coach day trip business, ClickTrips.

work Outline

As a new startup, ClickTrips were looking to establish a branding. The business itself would be very customer-centric, focussing on delivering a reliable, friendly and personal service to its customers.

It was key that the overall design was warm and inviting, whilst portraying the transport and travel element of the business venture.

The Process

After meeting to discuss the project further to identify keys areas we wanted the branding to focus itself around, we kicked things off with draft designs for the brand logo.

Firstly designing various concepts without colour, these concepts were presented and whittled down to just a few for further development.

Once we had reached the final logo design the brand colour scheme and styling followed, again offering a plethora of option, the warm glow of a sunset gradient stood out.
